Adult Level 2 Challenges
Welcome to the youth challenges for the #sdg2020challenge! Here, you'll find a list and explanation for each of the challenges.
Volunteer to babysit a child at a local crisis center so that the child’s mom can go to a job interview.
Cook a meal and share it with your neighbor or someone in your area who needs it.
Exercise for 60 minutes with a friend two times this week!
Donate a subscription to an age-appropriate science journal.
Generate a list of women-owned or run businesses in your area and share it on social media. Encourage people to make purchases from these businesses.
Make sure your detergents do not have phosphates.
Go through your home and replace all lightbulbs with LED bulbs.
If applicable, join a local worker’s union.
Download an app (link here) and submit 3 complaints about the quality of infrastrucutre when you see them.
Help immigrants adjust to life in your country. This can include teaching Russian to immigrants, learning about their culture, or volunteering at centers that help immigrants adapt to new cultures. Here are some links to places where you can get involved: link1, link2, link3.
Participate in a pre-existing social project in your area.
Do your grocery shopping in a “no waste” manner and avoid buying more than you will consume. (This means bring your own containers and shop from the bulk section.)
Start a composting bin at your home.
Organize a cleanup at a local river or lake.
Clean out your closet and give any unused clothing to a local charity or thrift store.

Start a sustainability focused group and think about how you can partner to help achieve the SDGs.
